Report Cards
Report cards are sent home four times a year. Individual parent-teacher conferences are held in November. Sign ups for conference days and times are held at Open House at the beginning of the school year.
The First Grade Asssessment program is comprehensive. Benchmark Dibels will be conducted three times a year by the School Wide Assessment Team to determine growth in the areas of basic indicators of early literacy skills. Theme tests from the Harcourt Story Town will be used to monitor students' progress in mastering the skills taught in each theme. These tests assess phonemic awareness, phonics, comprehension, fluency, high-frequency words and robust vocabulary.
